Mpowered By Marshalls

  • At Marshalls, we believe everyone deserves access to the good stuff in life — from quality time with loved ones and moments of self-care to opportunities for hobbies, passion projects, and personal and professional growth. But for many women, the life they want can feel out of reach despite their best efforts. Only half of those we spoke to say they’re satisfied with their lives, and one in three say they lack access to the resources, knowledge, and networks that would help them move forward.

That’s why we created Mpowered by Marshalls. Through hands-on events that are open to everyone, bite-sized content, and expert-led programming inspiring leaders and builders, we’re helping women find their own path toward the life they want — because when she moves forward, it uplifts those around her.

  • Mpowered by Marshalls offers programs and partnerships that help provide women with access to tools, resources, and community:

    • The Marshalls Good Stuff Social Club is a touring, IRL event open to everyone, and a digital content series. MGSSC gives attendees access to a powerhouse group of experts across a range of inspirational topics designed to help women bridge the gap between their vision board and their reality.
    • The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program — developed in partnership with Luminary — is a virtual, 12-month experience designed to help 40 participants turn their personal and professional ambitions into action.
    • And through our Mpowered Partners — Girls Inc., Mentor, and Savvy Ladies — we’re helping the women of today and tomorrow, and those around them, gain access to the resources, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive.
  • This year, Marshalls donated a total of $400,000 to our Mpowered partners through the TJX Foundation. Through these partnerships, we help enable programming that meaningfully supports women and girls by providing the tools, resources, and community they need to get the good stuff in life.

    • We partner with Girls Inc.'s Project Accelerate to build leadership pathways and equip young women and girls with the skills they need for college and career success.
    • We partner with MENTOR to increase the quantity and quality of mentoring relationships.
    • We partner with Savvy Ladies to help equip women nationwide to take control of their finances through their free financial app and workshops.

The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program

  • Back for its third year, The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program — developed in partnership with Luminary — is a virtual, year-long experience designed to support 40 participants as they turn their personal and professional ambitions into action.

The Accelerator Program is part of Mpowered by Marshalls’ broader commitment to helping women create their own path toward the life they want through hands-on events, bite-sized content and expert-led programming. It welcomes applicants of all backgrounds pursuing personal and professional ambitions, with the goal of expanding opportunities for women in their lives, workplaces and communities.

Whether you’re a student, a stay-at-home parent, growing your career or business, or simply exploring what’s next – we encourage you to apply.

In partnership with Luminary, The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program provides a cohort of 40 participants with one year of programming that includes:

    • Live virtual sessions with Marshalls experts and role models, in group learning format. Some of our past mentors have included Emmy Award-winning media personalities, bestselling authors, leading financial educators, acclaimed podcast hosts, and Marshalls executives.
    • Peer coaching sessions (known as a Luminary Cru) offering shared accountability and support
    • A one-time $5,000 grant designed to help participants invest in the goals they’re working toward through the program
    • Full access to Luminary Collective PLUS: a membership that includes 15+ monthly virtual events, tools, networking, a members-only online community, and physical partner coworking spaces nationwide

No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program is sponsored by TJX Companies, Inc. Open to legal residents of the 50 US, DC & PR, 18 & older. Begins 10:00 a.m. ET on 9/9/26 and ends 11:59 p.m. ET on 10/13/26. For Official Rules, prize descriptions, how to enter, and complete details, visit https://www.mpoweredbymarshalls.com/accelerator-program.html

  • Marshalls chose to provide a $5,000 grant for each of the 40 participants in The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program based on our research that included a detailed analysis of the costs associated with the tools, resources, and community support needed for women to live their ideal lives. According to that research, this average annual expense is approximately $4,362. We decided to round this amount up to $5,000 to ensure that participants have additional flexibility and resources to fully support their development.

The one-time grant is intended to kickstart each participant’s journey and should be used to invest in themselves and support the specific personal or professional goals they're focusing on during the program. This may include (but is not limited to) things like equipment to pursue a new hobby, tickets to a conference or summit, funds to start a new community group, fees to join a professional networking group, a wardrobe refresh for a new role, and/or a career coach. The funding will be disbursed via check to participants approximately halfway through the year-long program to support their ongoing efforts.

  • People in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico are invited to apply, with all programming held virtually over the course of 2027. This program is not designed exclusively for business owners, so you don't need to own a business to apply—we encourage people of all backgrounds and at different stages of their personal and professional journeys to apply.

  • As outlined in the Official Rules, participants are responsible for paying any applicable taxes on the full retail value of the Grand Prize.

The $5,000 grant is included in the total retail value of the Grand Prize, which also includes the program itself and all other relevant benefits. The total retail value of the Grand Prize is $8,588.

Participants will receive a 1099-MISC during the 2027 tax season for the total retail value of the Grand Prize.

Because tax obligations vary based on factors such as income, marital status, and state of residence, we recommend consulting a tax professional with any questions about individual tax circumstances.

  • All required Marshalls programming will be conducted virtually via Luminary’s Zoom, ensuring that every participant can have a meaningful and engaging experience, no matter where they are located. However, in addition to the core Accelerator Program workshops, all recipients receive a Luminary membership which provides access to the Luminary headquarters in New York City as well as 30+ partner co-working and social spaces across the country. Participants will have the ability to register for any and all events through their online access.

  • Applications are open from 9/9 - 10/13. All applicants will be contacted regarding their application status via the email address they provided on their application no later than December 10, 2026. Final acceptance into the program will be contingent on the applicant completing all requested paperwork.

Please note: You will not receive a confirmation email after submitting your application. We recommend printing this page or taking a screenshot for your records.

  • Mpowered by Marshalls programming aims to support participants through 3 Pathways to Empowerment

    • Fostering Community & Connection
    • Building Financial Know-How
    • Embracing Confidence & Self-Worth
  • Luminary is a global, Membership-based professional education and networking platform founded with the mission to uplift, up-skill, and propel women and their allies forward through all phases of their personal and professional journeys.

Luminary’s Members are a multigenerational and intersectional community of individuals, intrapreneurs, entrepreneurs, corporations, and organizations with access to a vast ecosystem of expert-led thought leadership programs and services. Learn more about Luminary.

  • All participants will commit to 12 months of virtual programming that runs from January 2027 to December 2027. The curriculum includes:

    • 60-minute Kick-Off Session to learn more about the program, meet fellow cohort members, and walk through expectations for the year ahead (January 2027).
    • 90-minute Cru Inception Gathering to learn about the Luminary Cru program, understand the peer-to-peer coaching process, and meet each Cru Guide and fellow Cru members (March 2027).
    • Six (6), 60–75-minute virtual sessions with Marshalls’ powerhouse group of experts and role models. These sessions will cover a range of topics; each aligned to the three pathways to empowerment outlined above (sessions will span the length of the program).
    • Six (6), 60-minute monthly Luminary Cru peer mentorship meetings with a small community of carefully matched MGSAP participants (April–September 2027).
    • A one-time $5,000 grant designed to help participants invest in the goals they’re working toward through the program.
    • 60-minute Graduation session to celebrate and highlight participants’ wins and close out the year on a high-note.
    • Full access to a Luminary Collective PLUS Membership, including 15+ monthly virtual events, a members-only online platform, digital content library, nationwide partner spaces, and more!
    • Two (2) 60-minute Cohort Connection Office hours, designated to ask Luminary founder Cate Luzio questions and provide additional time with fellow MGSAP cohort members, to connect outside of Cru meetings.

All dates are subject to change.

  • While attendance is important for your progress and eligibility for the mid-program grant distribution, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Luminary will monitor attendance and, if needed, can provide you with content from any missed sessions to keep you on track.

To ensure fairness and uphold the integrity of the program, Luminary reserves the right to withhold the one-time grant payment from any participant who does not meet minimum attendance requirements by summer 2027, prior to grant distribution.

The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program is designed to be an active, engaging experience. The more you put into the program, the more you'll get out of it.

To remain eligible for the $5,000 grant, participants must meet the following engagement requirements before grant distribution:

    • Attend at least 60% of Marshalls Sessions (3 of the first 5 sessions).
    • Attend at least 66% of Luminary Cru Gatherings (2 of the first 3 Gatherings).

Office Hours are optional and are not included in attendance requirements.

That said, Luminary and Marshalls are committed to working with participants to navigate any challenges that may come up and to help ensure participants get the most out of this experience.

  • Sessions are held on weekdays and will typically take place during standard business hours. Because our participants join from across the country, we'll vary session times throughout the year to better accommodate different schedules and time zones. We'll share the program schedule in advance so participants can plan ahead.

  • If you're selected for the program, you'll receive a Participant Handbook before the program begins that includes the overall program schedule and featured speakers. Because the program spans the course of a year, exact session dates and times may not be finalized several months in advance. We'll share updates and additional details as soon as they're available, so you have as much time as possible to plan ahead.

  • A Luminary Cru is a small accountability circle of 4-5 participants and a trained Cru Guide (Luminary staff member). During monthly 60-minute Gatherings, participants support one another through peer coaching, while the Cru Guide facilitates conversation, encourages accountability, and helps keep the group on track. Together, participants will work toward personal and professional goals in a collaborative, supportive environment. Please note: Luminary Crus provide peer mentorship and accountability. They do not include one-on-one mentorship with a Cru Guide.

All MGSAP participants will be matched into a Luminary Cru primarily based on time zone and availability, while also considering shared goals, values, and diverse perspectives. They’ll have access to a digital platform to track their intentions and progress. More than a networking group, a Cru is an opportunity to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections throughout the program.

Many participants from our past two cohorts described their Cru as the highlight of their MGSAP experience, with many continuing to stay connected long after the program ended. Cru Gatherings are a core part of the MGSAP journey, and we ask that all participants make every effort to attend.

Given the personal nature of the conversations in these meetings, they will not be recorded.

  • As everyone's goal and journey is different, there is no grading process for the Accelerator Program. We strongly believe in the importance of defining your own success, which also means being in the driver’s seat for your participation. Luminary will provide suggested events, specific communications, ongoing support, and other pieces to help bolster your participation and engagement, but ultimately you are in control of your goal(s) and thus, your participation. We are here to help though, so please reach out to your Cru leader or Luminary staff partner if you feel overwhelmed, need guidance, or just want to chat.

  • Luminary is happy to accommodate any needs we can. Please connect to MGSAP@weareluminary.com, the dedicated Luminary support team, if you are looking for certain format or accommodation.
